This poppy was made by a Murut Bookan artisan, and it can be hung on your bag or with your keys. Preserving the Murut Bookan heritage is especially important, as only about 2,400 people speak the language. Although this jewelry design has been modernized, continuing the tradition of jewelry making helps preserve the artistic heritage and cultural identity of the Murut Bookan community for future generations.
